Reinterpreting the tradition of vermouth with a contemporary and versatile visual language.
2025
El Xiquet is a vermouth bar in Sant Antoni, Barcelona, whose identity reinterprets the imagery of traditional soda siphons, connecting past and present through a contemporary and approachable visual language that celebrates vermouth culture in a nostalgic and spontaneous way.
The proposal goes beyond the visual: it seeks to capture the collective emotion surrounding the act of sharing a vermouth, creating a visual system capable of conveying history, culture, and enjoyment, without compromising modernity or versatility across the brand’s applications and touchpoints.

Tradition
reinterpreted.
Starting from the well-known iconography of soda siphons, we created a versatile system with six different logos that allow El Xiquet to tell its own visual narrative, ranging from illustrations to typographic compositions that evoke the identity of the city’s traditional vermouth bars with a touch of modernity, playing in a flexible and effective way.

We aimed to connect with a young audience eager to carry on the city’s generational traditions, as well as with those for whom the vermouth ritual is the perfect excuse to gather, share moments, and enjoy the local culture.
That’s why we chose to capture their attention with a modern, dynamic visual approach, inviting them to join a community that celebrates tradition with spontaneity, shares experiences, and keeps the spirit of vermouth alive.
